We’ve been some­what quietly work­ing on this new site that’s geared towards fund-raising for our dis­abled friends from South Asia.

What can you expect to find on ampart.us?

There’s so much to fin­ish so the site is def­in­itely in ‘beta’ mode at the moment. We will edit it, try to get it bet­ter and update it in this topic. How­ever, you will find sig­ni­fic­ant new pho­tos pub­lished next time and we have excit­ing plans to add more fea­tures to ampart.us over the next few months.

Vis­it­ors who enjoyed our former web­sites amparte.de and planet-arte.de will find a new, more appeal­ing design and an improved nav­ig­a­tion.  And yes, we added some more pho­tos of our friends to their respect­ive pages.

It would be dis­tinctly unwise – not to men­tion unchar­it­able – to play connect-the-dots with my phys­ical life and work and my “life of the mind”, as scanty as either might be. My atti­tude at work, my reac­tion to ideas, your grade (good or bad), the length and tone of my dis­cus­sion at the tea pot, the intens­ity and dur­a­tion of my love­mak­ing, the time it took for me to return your let­ter or eMail, and the qual­ity and quant­ity of my response to you in any medium are prob­ably not tied to any­thing you read or see here… at least not in a way that you will be able to con­fid­ently assume without shar­ing years of psy­cho­ther­apy and the bills that come with it. It’s all about me and my friends — and I like it that way.
